Technical Sales Manager

About the job:

As a Technical Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to play a significant part in the continued growth of Linnovate. As an active technical sales leader, you will help accelerate of Linnovate’s open source technologies sales. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop & deliver technical presentations and customized demonstrations of Linnovate
  • Develop technical responses for customer requests for information and proposals (RFI, RFP…)

  • develop an understanding of customer market segments to share with business unit for future product planning and roadmaps

  • preparing tenders, proposals and technical quotations

  • negotiating contracts, terms and conditions

  • identifying and establishing new business

  • providing pre-sales and post-sales support

  • writing reports and sales literature

  • attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings

 

Skills:

We look for individuals with technical backgrounds in the software world who demonstrate a genuine interest in the sales and marketing side of our business. You will need a basic understanding of the software world. A passion for sales and business development. You need to be self-driven and have goal-setting ability, alongside excellent human relations skills and communication. 

  • The ideal candidate will have a track record of sales experience with business development understanding. 

  • Basic Knowledge of web and IT architectures and technologies

  • Basic Knowledge in open source technologies (huge advantage)

  • Basic Knowledge of CMS technology especially Drupal and Wordpress (advantage)

  • strong delivery on Quarterly and Annual Account Budgeted Revenue and key scorecard metrics


Experience:


  • +2 years of experience as a sales representative in a Hi-Tech or software company    

  • Technical knowledge of web and open source technologies is an advantage

  • Building strategic relationships and partnering with senior executives
