Linnovate goes mobile!

Linnovate goes mobile!
submitted by: Zohar Stolar

As the web evolves, we evolve with it. The introduction smart-phones to the general public, in a mass, together with lower costs of cellular internet connectivity and availability of wireless networks, all lead to an increasing demand to supply mobile application, to go with a website or service. iPhone started the storm, and Android is catching up rapidly. Other mobile devices are not staying behind.

Here at Linnovate we do Open Source and Drupal. We have built a name and a reputation as the leading Drupal shop in Israel and we believe deeply that Open Source and Drupal are the correct tools for almost all websites that need a robust content management system (CMS). But like everyone else, we love it when are views are upheld and supported by an external source. It just proves that we were right all along.

One of the coolest events we participated in ( coolest's definition is the best ratio between price/quality of the wine) DrupalCon Paris was an after-party in ["LaCantine"]( a collaborative workspace in paris. [AF83]( one of our partners and Ori Pekelman their CTO where instrumental in building the place and it serves several startups that deal with Open source and lets them share resources and sublet a space for a reasonable (and subsidized) fee.

Today I participated in a session about Drupal's multilingual system in Drupalcon, Paris. The panel was hosted by Doug Green of Civic Actions, and co-presenters were Damien Tournoud of AF83 and me. We spoke about the transforming of the multilingual system, between Drupal 5, Drupal 6 and Drupal 7, and went over the strong and weak points of the system.
